Welcome to CSI – Bluegrass! Thanks to our members, we are riding on “Cloud-9” and the ride is smooth!

In April, we were informed that our Chapter is the recipient of the “Chapter Cup Award” at the Construc2008 Show in Las Vegas, Nevada, June 6, 2008. We are receiving the Chapter Cup Award for the highest percentage of increased membership. So, that means that the entire Bluegrass Chapter won this award!

Also, May 22, 2008 we will be co-hosting the CSI/AIA Tradeshow. This year our educational theme is “BIM BAM BOOM”. We have some pretty interesting speakers whom will help educate the Bluegrass on the Building Information Model. Later that evening we will be hosting our annual Visionary Awards Dinner. This year we will be awarding Bluegrass Chapter Members for their hard work and dedication for their service to our chapter along with the Visionary Award.

In June, we will be revisiting Sandersville Elementary for the second facility tour for the year. I thought it would be nice to re-visit the facility so our members could see the finished product. We will have more details later this month.

Again, I can not express my excitement and enthusiasm for our chapter. We continue offer great education to our members along with great networking. I am very thankful to be your chapter president because our members make my job look easy!

Don’t forget about our “Presidents Invitation” campaign. We will have cards available for our current members to pass out to prospective members of CSI.

As always, we encourage our current members to bring a friend to each meeting. If your friend fills out a membership application; your meals is on us!
